Whiskey Media may have split, but we can't be bought off by our new corporate overlords (unless they give us money, then we can talk)! Among the topics discussed, DocHaus talks about Daily Lives of High School Boys, the crew talks about other anime that ended by the time you hear this podcast (for better or worse) and Kurt decides to let out some flamebait--or was that jailbait?--about J-Pop idols. DocHaus has yet to actually play Mass Effect 3, but everyone else won't shut up about it, so he rants about another topic instead: Crunchyroll using "spec work" to get one of their fans to create a mascot for them where the "winner" gets no tangible or intangible prize and forfeits their rights to ownership of said mascot if they win. Also, Kurt still hates everything you like. Except Mass Effect 3.

DocHaus recovers from celebrating the shit out of Presidents' Day as we try (and fail) to not rage at length about recent shows we hate, then we briefly preview upcoming series for the Spring anime season that we hope will do better. Kurt looked for a copy of Wandering Son and walked out with 4 volumes of K-on, and talks about his love-hate relationship with DC Comics. Also, there's talk about Gotham City Imposters for a bit (they got better) and anime golf games.

This was supposed to be an episode about music in anime, but some things happened: First, DocHaus had a sore throat and a slight headache due to a classy party the night before and sounded somewhere between Tom Waits with a frog in his throat and Gambit from the '90s X-Men cartoon. Then we had an Actual Japanese Person, Gary Chan, stay up late enough to talk with us about the latest K-ON! movie and his experience in going to see it. And then CrazyCanuck talked about Skyrim. We shoved in some stuff about anime near the end, but with an actual guest we're now one step closer to being a real podcast!

...okay, I don't know how that became the title, but in this episode, Kurt has disappeared yet again so we needed something witty to draw everyone in. I screw up the numbering of this episode (23, not 22!) before we talk about various anime, chat about Macross, check in on the (now-ended) MLG Providence,  and read some comments by people who don't like what they see on the TV (in Japan)! On an unrelated note, DocHaus is doing his own Endurance (or "Endure This!") Run on Giant Bomb for The Last Remnant. Will he be able to finish it? Hope so!
